Charizard GX, Gardevoir GX, and Sparkly New Products!

Hey guys!! Pokemon has recently announced some awesome new products as well as some upcoming cards for Sun & Moon 3!

Let's take a look:

Charizard GX

Fire - HP250 - Stage 2

[C][C][C] Wing Attack: 70 damage.

[R][R][R][C][C] Crimson Storm: 300 damage.

Discard 3 [R] Energy from this Pokemon.

[R][C][C] Raging Out GX: Discard the top 10 cards from your opponent’s deck. (You can only use 1 GX attack per game.)

When 1 of your Pokemon-GX is Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 Prize cards.

Weakness: Water (x2) Resistance: none Retreat: 2

This card looks like it will be KILLER with some burning energy to negate the drawbacks of Crimson Storm. It could also be a huge asset to milling decks in certain situations. I'm interested to see how some of the pros go about using this in future tournaments!

Gardevoir-GX

Fairy - HP230 - Stage 2

Ability: Fountain of Secrets

Once during your turn (before you attack) you may attach 1 [Y] Energy from your hand to 1 of your Pokemon.

[Y] Infinite Force: 30x damage. This attack does 30 damage times the amount of Energy attached to both Active Pokemon.

[Y] Twilight-GX: Search your discard pile for 10 cards, show them to your opponent, and shuffle them back into your deck. (You can only use one GX attack per game.)

When 1 of your Pokemon-GX is Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 Prize cards.

Weakness: Metal (x2) Resistance: Darkness (-20) Retreat: 2

Now, Gardevoir GXs special move is essentially the counter to Charizards. It allows you to raid your discard to get back all your delightful goodies! Its ability appears to be quite useful as well, as it allows you to get a lot of energy on the playing field very quickly. I will definitely consider adding this to my current fairy deck.

These are both to super-cool new GXs that will definitely see some play time in the upcoming competitive game! They are going to be released in the new Sun and Moon 3 TCG expansion, Burning Shadows.

In other news, we have some new promo boxes coming our way! Feast your eyes on the Tsareena GX Box and the Shiny Tapu Koko GX Box.

These both come with a super-rad promo card, jumbo promo, and four packs of Pokemon cards! They are set to release this August alongside the new set, Burning Shadows.
